BfR research project on the uptake of heavy metals and dioxins completed

The final report of the research project "Food-borne exposure to environmental contaminants (LExUKon) is present. The final report of the project was published as a brochure BfR. Our first Christmas in the new house! We had hoped

us, but in hindsight, we can not at all believe how smoothly our house construction has expired.

There are still (especially outdoors) do too much, but we feel now already a fiddle in our home!

Yes ... The last entry is really a bit longer ago. BUT: we were really busy in the meantime! :-)

After a few months now in our new small house, have we really reached the feel. Sounds strange, but it is so ;-) At some point you sit, just as usual in front of the telly and notes: now it's our house. Who has also built a new small house and moved in after all the excitement of waiting at last, we will certainly agree :-)

Since the last blog entry, we were particularly busy, the remaining move to eliminate chaos. This project is still not completed, But slowly but surely we are always near the end of the Chaos! Our dining area and the cuisine is in any case already nearly complete:

In the two yet "bottomless" rooms upstairs has done something in the meantime. Finally, we have also moved there the laminate. Thanks to our narrow gallery, the installation was a bit tricky. After much patience, and thanks to a newly acquired Mitre, We have done this but also:

So much for the inside ;-) One important new feature: uh furniture :-)

Small innovation in the gallery itself: our long-awaited shelves were supplied and now have their place in the purple wallpaper taken But outside, where: fence and gate are here! Getting there was not rocky ... NO ... the way there was of CONCRETE! More specifically, the foundation of the old wall.

Actually, it looked quite harmless, the old foundation:

The air heat pump has our house at a 11 degree outdoor temperature always kept warm. The additional electric heater we have not needed. Even with the heat current temperatures around 0 degrees to the living area we only have our floor heating. While this is not intended as a primary heating (it is no floor), but it is sufficient, even at -11 degrees to keep the room temperature at a constant 24 degrees (range jaa.. 22 degrees too, but my wife freezes slightly ;-).
